Darn. After seeing all of the incredible entries for the Pin Up Challenge on Art Order, I wish I'd come up with something more along the lines of this two weeks ago. Oh well... (forgot to mention on yesterday's post: traditional technique, watercolor, gouache, very slight digital tweaking.)

Drow Pin Up

My entry for the Art Order Pin Up Challenge. Since I missed the Drow vs Mind Flayer Challenge last year, I just couldn't let this one pass me by. This is more or less the final version. So I wanted to stay true to D&D, the pose is the pin up style, I guess. I wanted the pastell colors of the background to add a little bit of vintage feeling. I really tried to get the skin tone right. And I wanted her to be very slight and thin, not voluptuous, more elfin, yet beautiful and sexy. And flexible...
